Gleem Beta Terms
Last updated 1 October 2026
This English version is an informal translation provided for convenience only. The legally binding document is the German original. In case of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
1. Scope
These terms apply to taking part in the closed betas of Anikeen UG (haftungsbeschränkt) & Co. KG (“Gleem”): currently Gleem IRL Sidekick, Signed Cards and OBS Server Hosting. They supplement the general Terms of Service. Individual betas are also governed by their own terms, such as the Hosting Agreement, the Rental Terms or the Shipping Terms.
You accept these terms when you join or apply for a beta. The version you accepted is stored with your participation.
2. Taking part
- Every beta needs a connected Discord account and membership of the Gleem Discord server. That is where you get your beta role, support and news.
- There is no right to be admitted. Seats may be limited, in which case you join a waitlist. Some betas are limited to certain countries or reviewed by the team.
- Taking part is free. Paid services within a beta, such as renting a machine, are governed by the terms that apply to them.
3. No availability guarantee
A beta is a test. Features may have bugs, fail, change or be removed without replacement, and data you create in a beta may be lost. During the beta, Gleem owes no particular availability, performance or duration.
4. End of access
- You can leave a beta at any time in your dashboard under “Betas”.
- Gleem may pause or end your access at any time and shut a beta down entirely, in particular after a breach of these terms, misuse, or when the beta ends.
- If you disconnect your Discord account, your access is paused until you connect it again. Your seat is kept in the meantime.
5. Feedback
We expect you to give us feedback on Discord: what works, what does not, and what is missing. You grant Gleem the free right, unlimited in time and territory, to use your feedback to improve its products. Content you create (such as your streams) remains yours.
6. Gleem IRL Sidekick: hardware and streaming
- You provide the hardware (such as a single-board computer, modems and memory cards) and mobile contracts yourself and bear their costs, including data. Flashing our image and connecting devices is at your own risk.
- An IRL stream can drop at any time, for example with poor reception, a bug in the beta, or when your access ends. Do not rely on the IRL Sidekick for anything that must not fail.
- You are responsible for your stream: look after your own safety and that of others, do not operate anything while driving, and respect the rights of the people you film.
- If you leave the beta or your access ends, your paired devices stop streaming right away.
7. Liability
Gleem’s liability is governed by the Terms of Service.
8. Privacy
What data we process for the betas, including in connection with Discord, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. A new version applies to you once you accept it the next time you join or apply; we tell current members about material changes in advance on Discord or by email.
